The green economy, sustainability, building community capacity, emerging theories of governance and industry collaboration, and other fascinating issues will be explored at the Gaining Ground Ecological Conference happening October 4th to 7th. H.A.V.E. Cafe FREE 8-Weeks On-going Culinary Training Program!
Do you know someone who might be interested in working in the Food Services Industry? H.A.V.E. Café has a free 8 Weeks Culinary training program which provides Food Safe certification as well as job placements upon completion. The program is designed to incorporate both life skills and occupational training to the prep cook level.
This training program is on-going and is eligible for anyone who has not been on Employment Insurance in the past 3 years. The course will run Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm for 8 weeks. All participants will receive breakfast/lunch daily and bus fares are paid for.
